2015 JA Atlanta Business Hall of Fame: Dennis Lockhart

Dennis Lockhart is a broadly experienced leader who is an expert in areas of finance, banking and international business. Lockhart has held various positions, both domestic and international. His career began with Citcorp/Citibank (now Citigroup) and from there he has led organizations including Heller International Group and Zephyr Management LP. Lockhart then shifted his focus to education when he served on the faculty of Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and was an adjunct professor at Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies. All of these experiences and leadership roles primed Lockhart to become the versatile and highly-qualified leader he is today as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta.
