The video shows coin collection in the Trevi Fountain on Monday April 31, 2005. The company in charge of collecting the coins in the Trevi Fountain is Rome's energy and water supplier ACEA. Twice a week, usually on Mondays and Fridays, several ACEA workers use vacuum pumps to remove coins from the fountain.
The Chiesa di Sant'Ignazio di Loyola in Campo Marzio is a Catholic place of worship in Rome; in Baroque style, it is adjacent to the Roman College of which it was the university chapel. The church was built in Baroque style between 1626 and 1650 and is dedicated to Ignatius of Loyola, the founder of the Society of Jesus, located in Rome, Italy.
The Scalinata di Trinità dei Monti (Spanish Steps) is the monumental staircase of 136 steps, commissioned by Cardinal Pierre Guérin de Tencin. It climbs a steep slope between Piazza di Spagna with the famous Fontana della Barcaccia (Fountain of the Longboat) at the base and Piazza Trinità dei Monti, dominated by the Trinità dei Monti church, at the top.
Via del Babuino is a street in the center of Rome. It connects Piazza del Popolo with Piazza di Spagna and is an integral part of the road complex known as Tridente, of which it delimits the eastern end. There is an ugly statue of Silenus, an ancient deity linked to springs and fountains. It is so ugly that people nicknamed it Babuino (Baboon), which over time became the name of the street itself.
Piazza del Popolo is a large urban square in Rome. The name in modern Italian literally means "People's Square", but historically it derives from the poplars (populus in Latin, pioppo in Italian) after which the church of Santa Maria del Popolo, in the northeast corner of the piazza, takes its name.
