Matthew Quilliam is on a mission to show just how much pluck this little instrument has to give!

During this one-man (and his ukulele) show, all you can do is expect the unexpected. One minute you’ll be singing along to your favourite songs from Grease, Queen and more, the next trying to keep up with Matthew’s lightning-speed fingers! Along the way there will be comedy songs, spectacular arrangements and maybe even a bit of tap-dance…

With the world’s first all-ukulele degree under his belt, Matthew is a leading player of the instrument with showstopping skills under his fingers.

In May 2024, Matthew saw his first full solo evening at South Hill Park to a great reception. With two 45 minute sets, this act is great entertainment at festivals, hotels, pubs, cruises, theatres and arts venues, or more intimate events such as clubs and house parties.
