UMA NOVA PERSPECTIVA SOBRE TRAPPIST 1

O sistema estelar Trappist-1 é de interesse dos cientistas por vários motivos. Em distancias astronômicas está muito próximo de nós, a apenas 40 anos-luz de distância da terra, e é composto por sete planetas rochosos. Três deles ficam na zona habitável de sua estrela, região onde a temperatura é ideal para sustentar água em seu estado liquido, e dois desses planetas têm tamanho similar ao nosso planeta.
Até agora os exoplanetas do sistema Trappist-1 são os planetas com mais água já descobertos fora do sistema solar, portanto os planetas em Trappist-1, principalmente os planetas que estão dentro da zona habitável da estrela anã ultrafria, Trappist-1 que são, Trappist-1e, Trappist-1f e Trappist-1g, podem ser muito favoráveis para a vida. Nesse vídeo viajaremos para 40 anos luz de distância da Terra e conheceremos esse sistema solar em miniatura que é Trappist-1.

The Trappist-1 star system is of interest to scientists for several reasons. At astronomical distances it is very close to us, only 40 light years away from Earth, and is made up of seven rocky planets. Three of them are in their star's habitable zone, a region where the temperature is ideal for sustaining liquid water, and two of these planets are similar in size to our planet.
So far the exoplanets in the Trappist-1 system are the most watery planets ever discovered outside the solar system, so the planets in Trappist-1, particularly the planets that are within the habitable zone of the ultracool dwarf star, Trappist-1, are, Trappist-1e, Trappist-1f and Trappist-1g, can be very life-friendly. In this video we will travel 40 light years away from Earth and get to know this miniature solar system that is Trappist-1.
