Okay, so it's 1918 and a cowardly WW1 soldier is given the penalty of death by firing squad. His father, (who is also his commanding general) eventually tells his condemned son that there is a plan in place to make the execution look real, but rather to save him instead. Of course, this an epsiode of Tales from The Crypt, so there's always a twist and this one is no different.
This installments stands out because it stars Kirk Douglas and his real life son Eric Douglas (who played the coward) and Dan Aykroyd who actually supplied his own wardrobe collection for his role.
