The fall transition is starting at Truman Lake! In this week’s fishing report, guide Mark Huey breaks down the latest crappie, catfish, and white bass patterns:
🎯 Crappie are suspended and scattered — some are moving back into creeks, holding at 3 to 11 ft on trees. On the main lake, look for them tight to the bottom in 9 to 14 ft.
🎣 Catfish are hot when the wind blows — anchor up and catch ’em shallow. But when the water turns to glass, the bite shuts down.
🐟 White bass are showing up on wind-blown banks. Hit chunk rock points or jig main lake humps if it’s calm.
Mark still has a few dates open in November and December, but they won’t last long!
