There are so many possibilities of things to add when you are making soap! And some of them work, and so don't! But there are some general rules and guidelines to follow, and just some plain ole' common sense!
Here are a few of my favorite additives in soapmaking, and some thoughts about how to get started using additives!

Hi, I'm Shanna, and I am a soapmaking coach! I love teaching people soap making basics. specifically goat milk soap making basics, and also the basics of building their very own soap business!

I love working with people just like you! On our channel and in our soapmaking class, we teach a step-by-step process to get you making handmade goat milk soap safely and confidently! We want you to have the confidence to try cold process soap making without the worry of needing to do this on your own! Feeling like it is up to you to figure this out can totally take the joy out of learning soapmaking! We want take all the worry and intimidation out of making goat milk soap and leave you with just the joy of exploring this new hobby! The idea of making "lye soap" can be intimidating, but it doesn't have to be! You just need someone to walk with you through the process!
If your new hand crafted soap passion really takes root, you are going to need an outlet for your soaps! That us where you need someone to show you how to make soap business! You soaps will be amazing, and we just need to connect the dots between you and your soap and the people who really need them! We can help you down that path as well!
On our channel and in our soap making class, we teach cold process soap making, and specifically making goatmilk soap. Although this may sound intense or complicated, it is actually the SIMPLEST way to start! Once you learn our method for making goat milk soap and get good at it, you are well-able to try other types of soapmaking. But honestly, most of our students don't bother, because what they are creating is so amazing, they don't feel the need to do anything different!
