Steps for Autism raises funds for Autism Pensacola while bringing awareness and acceptance to the autism community. Steps is a fundraising effort that kicked off June 4 and runs through September. This grassroots effort encourages businesses, families, and community friends to form teams and raise money. Autism Pensacola believes Steps will be the start of a movement to make our community Autism Friendly! #AutismFriendlyNWFL
On September 15, we celebrated our success with an #AutismFriendly event at Marcus Pointe Baptist Church. With activities for kids and adults alike, the community came out for an afternoon of bounce houses, food trucks, karaoke, sensory play, and so much more!
All proceeds raised support the mission and programs of Autism Pensacola, including safety, quality of life, and awareness initiatives in both Escambia and Santa Rosa counties. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the walk stay in our local area.
