Recruiting new soldiers in Ukraine is becoming increasingly difficult: heroes ready to defend their country with arms in hand have long been at the front. Those who are being forcibly conscripted are often neither mentally nor physically prepared to fight. They avoid conscription and try to flee the country.
In this situation, foreign volunteers – well-motivated and determined – could be a lifesaver. The Insider spoke with both.
