The Axis downwind SUP foil board (7’6” x 21” 110L) is so much fun to wing, so nice to pump and glide. Axis 1100 Spitfire, 362/50 Skinny Rear, +40 Advance Ultrashort fuselage, 800 Pro Ultra High Modulus Carbon Mast, 4.5m Flysurfer Mojo. Great to spend as much time as possible on this new board to help familiarise for the down wind paddle up. No issues with the swing weight whatsoever, in fact it glides so much better than my 5’ 85L Axis Froth wing board. Turns great and allows you to use a smaller size hand wing. In the short term I will stay winging this board, whether because of the novelty factor, or it is simply better. Possibly on a nuking day in good waves I will be back on my wingfoil board.
