Carl Baxendell has been in Engineering for 22 years and his connection with rail began when he joined WH Davis some twelve years ago as a Design Engineer. Within those years he’s progressed to Design Engineering Team Leader and subsequently on to his current role as Engineering Manager. Throughout his time at WH Davis he has been involved in numerous rail freight projects such as the NDA FNA-D nuclear flask carrying wagons; the Drax IIA biomass hopper wagons and the VTG ECOfret 2 container carrying wagons - together with numerous re-purposing projects.
