Big Sky Basin Luxury House Tour

This property sits in the mountains of Big Sky with a direct view of the ski resort, which gave us incredible backdrops to work with. The challenge came from the fact that a home was under construction right next door, so exterior coverage had to be shot very intentionally. Every angle needed to be picked carefully to avoid construction materials, equipment, and partially built structures while still showcasing the home’s design and the mountain scenery.

Inside, the space offers strong natural light and a lot of warm wood tones, so a big part of the shoot was balancing interior color with the bright snow-covered exterior. The layout spreads across multiple levels, including bedrooms, a gym space, and a hot tub deck with full mountain views. Drone work had to be flown low and controlled to avoid picking up the construction zone, but the wide-open basin and the resort in the distance made for some great aerial opportunities. Overall, this shoot was a mix of precise framing, tight angle selection, and leaning heavily on the natural mountain views to tell the story.
