During the Fall of 2020, my college course on the "Theologies of Gender and Identity" was forced to go virtual. This video is one of the pre-recorded lectures from that course that I would like to share with a larger audience. Feel free to respectfully comment and question and I will respond in kind.

This borderline cringeworthy "creative lecture" marks three obvious shifts in the perception of masculinity in the early Christian Church. Can you spot the societal influences that led to these changes in the course of only three hundred years? Pay particular attention to the Peter and Mary Magdalene call-outs. How does the perception of these figures change with the times?
