The Noble Canyon trail system is nestled in the heart of the Cleveland National Forest, just north of San Diego. From alpine meadows, to oak forests, and finally the dry desert, this system offers riders an amazing collection of terrain and scenery. I was so ready to get the Delano Peaks out and rip this one with Rob!

After a short drive off I8, we arrived at the trail head. With limited time, our plan was to pedal up from the bottom and see how far we could get before ripping back down. We were immediately met with some challenging technical lift sections and we couldn't say no to some sessioning. It's always a treat to watch Rob work his magic on tricky sections. After scoping multiple lines, he and I both took our turn seeing how hard we could bash our bikes off the rocks.

The pedal up wasn't too bad and reached a ripping, almost double track like, mellow downhill section. Rob captured some sweet follow cam of me just having absolute fun! It's cool for me to watch it and see how upright and dynamic I am while I'm riding. I'm a big fan of NEVER being in a fixed position and it's comforting to see me practicing what I preach.

We hit a SUPER chunky uphill section that we assumed was "Stairway to Hell." I wasn't quite sure how to hit it, but Rob gave it a solid go and nearly go to the top. I relied a bit more on brute power and it didn't work out so well for me. This section could've eaten up a solid hour of our time as we tried new lines and found other spots to session.

Up we rode, finding more and more cool spots. We even ran into a rad local named Brent that lined us out on what to expect as we kept heading up. More chunk, more technical spots to session and be humbled!

What an awesome afternoon with my big bro and the Delanos! I've been excited to hit terrain like this on the Delano since we just don't have anything quite like it at home.
