Kingman AZ, Sept. 2, 2012, Mark Allen on location. In May of 2010, Chuck and Mary Reagan decided to take a 100-year-old (1910 Owensboro Covered Wagon) with the original wooden spokes and wheels, two female mules and two male horses, and travel from Crab Orchard KY, out to Butte County CA.
The old covered wagon wheels gave out sometime after 2,000 miles and they had to replace the whole wagon chassis. They now have rubber tires as seen in this high definition [HD] video footage. They're seen here first on historic Route 66 near Locomotive Railroad Park, then making their way up Beale Avenue ( highway 93 / Hwy 68 split), taking the Las Vegas NV exit.
