Jackie begs Massimo to come out of his coma, while Massimo silently wills Jackie not to lose hope. Nick is confident that Massimo’s condition will improve. Later, Massimo’s lawyer tells Nick and Deacon that in order for Nick to handle financial issues, Massimo must be declared incompetent. Stephanie wants Eric and to reconsider the showdown, however Eric is concerned that will only make matters worse. Thorne tells his Spectra team that the showdown isn’t just about designs, but about which system is better, the star system or the teamwork system. At the press conference, Stephanie pleads with Thorne to cancel the showdown, however Thorne refuses. The press eggs Ridge and Thorne into playfully putting up their fists and posing for pictures like prize fighters.
