Honored and humbled to have my first performance after Covid be at a tribute to one of my favorite lyricists, Howard Ashman, at Little Island NYC. This song wasn’t written for a film or show, but rather gives us his perspective on the early days of the AIDS crisis in the gay community. How many songs are we missing today, from him and from so many others? Thanks Lance Horne for the music and concept and Travis Greisler for directing this beautiful show.
