Today at 3B-Farm, I recorded another exciting day of beekeeping work — checking and splitting strong bee hives to expand the apiary and prepare for the upcoming honey flow season in November. In this video, I carefully inspect each hive, identifying the most powerful colonies full of bees, brood, and resources, and then create new hives (splits) from them.

This method helps balance the bee population, prevent swarming, and increase the number of productive hives before the honey flow begins. You’ll see the process of inspecting frames, spotting the queen, checking for healthy brood, and transferring bees to new boxes with care and precision.
