رسالة إلى الوالي هو فيلم كوميدي مصري تم إنتاجه عام 1998، وهو من بطولة عادل إمام ويسرا وعلاء ولي الدين وعلاء مرسي، تأليف بسام إسماعيل وإخراج نادر جلال.

قصة الفيلم
يذهب حرفوش بن برقوق الراكبدار (عادل إمام) برسالة إلى الوالي ليرسل إمدادات لمدينة رشيد المحاصرة من قبل الإنجليز. في الطريق يقابل حكيم روحاني يرسله إلى القاهرة في القرن العشرين ليبدأ مجموعة من المفارقات والمغامرات ويشهد تردى حال البلاد برغم انتصار رشيد. ومع تلك القفزة الزمنية التي تقارب قرنين يستكشف حرفوش العالم الحديث ويتهم بالجنون لكنه يثق في المهمة التي جاء من أجلها وهي تسليم الرسالة إلى الوالي محمد علي باشا في قلعة القاهرة.

A Message to the Governor is an Egyptian comedy film produced in 1998, starring Adel Emam, Yousra, Alaa Waly El-Din and Alaa Morsi, written by Bassam Ismail and directed by Nader Galal.

The story of the film
Harfoush bin Barquq Al-Raqbadar (Adel Emam) goes with a message to the governor to send supplies to the city of Rashid, which is besieged by the British. On the way, he meets a spiritual sage who sends him to Cairo in the twentieth century to begin a series of paradoxes and adventures and witness the deterioration of the country despite the victory of Rashid. With that time jump of nearly two centuries, Harfoush explores the modern world and is accused of madness, but he trusts the mission he came for, which is to deliver the message to the governor Muhammad Ali Pasha in the Cairo Citadel.
