Superman Review: The Man of Steel's First Film?

Imagine you found yourself spending your entire life in the darkness, and eventually discovering the light, only to realize exactly how unforgiving it really is. This week we take a trip to the Midwest and visit Superman's First Feature Film "Superman and the Mole Men" (1951) Written by Robert Maxwell and Whitney Ellsworth, and Directed by Lee Sholem. Return to a time where Truth, Justice, and the American way were actually values worth standing up for. When subterranean explorers come up to the surface, they find themselves in a strange new world that doesn't welcome them kindly. However, despite the cruelties of Man, the Superman arrives just in time to stand up for the little guy, literally! Although, with all of Superman's powers will he be able to overcome his greatest foe, intolerance?
