The description for the 50mm cannon says it gives "decent armor penetration" however I'm not sure that is accurate since it doesn't seem to really penetrate but instead do damage to vehicles. Unless it's classified as the same penetration as AP rounds for infantry weapons which just means it keeps its damage through windows and if it's not a window it does damage to the vehicle.
All of this was recorded prior to the science and discovery of the bugs/glitches/exploits shown in the previous video. Also keep in mind we were blasted out with explosive damage from vehicles or rockets and failed more often than we succeeded. Poor LATV loses control or traction the second an explosive goes off nearby, it has no mass to it and gets disabled with the slightest bump. I hope it gets a buff to handling and physics.
