QATAR: INLAND SEA, WHERE DESERT MEETS THE BLUE SEA

The Inland Sea of Qatar is one of those places that hardly seem real: where the desert meets crystal-clear water, where the dunes roll straight into the sea and the wind carries the echoes of off-road tracks disappearing behind you.
A true paradise for off-road lovers, a world where the sand reshapes itself every hour and every trail vanishes as if it never existed.

Not far from there runs the Desert Highway, a ribbon of asphalt cutting through emptiness, interrupted only by salt lakes and flocks of flamingos painting the desert with their colors.

In summer, though, this place belongs only to real professionals: the sea rises, floods the salt lakes and erases every track, making the Inland Sea reachable only for the very experienced.

L’Inland Sea del Qatar è uno di quei luoghi che sembrano impossibili: il deserto che incontra un mare cristallino, le dune che scivolano nell’acqua, il vento che porta l’eco delle piste percorse.
Un paradiso per chi ama l’off-road, un mondo dove la sabbia cambia forma a ogni ora e le tracce scompaiono come se non fossero mai esistite.

Lì vicino corre la Desert Highway, una linea d’asfalto che attraversa il nulla, interrotta solo dai laghi salati frequentati da stormi di fenicotteri che colorano il silenzio del deserto.

D’estate, però, questo posto appartiene solo ai veri professionisti: il mare si alza, invade i laghi salati, cancella le piste e rende l’Inland Sea raggiungibile solo ai più esperti.
