Shenlong, also known as Shenron, is the Eternal Dragon from Dragon Ball Z. He appears when all seven Dragon Balls are gathered and the summoning phrase is spoken.
Shenlong was created by Kami, Earth’s guardian. He can grant almost any wish, but he has limitations. For example, he cannot kill someone more powerful than his creator, and originally, he could only grant one wish at a time.
After Dende takes over as guardian, Shenlong is upgraded and gains the ability to grant two wishes.
Once summoned, Shenlong rises with a flash of lightning and a loud roar. If no wish is made in time, he disappears, and the Dragon Balls turn to stone for a year.
