Ashling, the Limitless is one of the face commanders from the new Lorwyn precons, but don’t let that fool you.

What looks like “fair” five-color Elemental tribal on the surface is secretly one of the most explosive creature-storm engines in Commander.

Ashling gives every Elemental you cast from hand the Evoke mechanic for 4 generic mana letting you cheat massive creatures onto the battlefield for almost no mana. Normally that would be a downside… but Ashling flips that completely on its head.

Whenever you sacrifice a nontoken Elemental, you create a haste token copy of it. That means every evoke spell effectively becomes double ETB triggers, double death triggers, potential attack triggers, and often straight-up combo fuel.

This deck pushes that interaction to the absolute limit. We stack cost reduction, abuse sacrifice engines, and chain Elementals back-to-back until the table is buried under triggers, value, and combo lines most players never even knew existed.

You’ll see Mulldrifter drawing four cards for four mana, Shriekmaw destroying two creatures, Titan of Industry generating absurd value, and several unique infinite loops powered entirely by Ashling’s evoke-copy engine.

This is not “unga bunga Elemental tribal.” This is Elemental Storm.

If you want a five-color commander that feels technical, explosive, and completely different from anything else in EDH, Ashling is an absolute powerhouse.
