Went out to the old quarry.., no ashphalt/ concrete recycling plant. Took the newer k10 truggy monstrosity.., of course i dropped it nose down on the trek out to the area. Broke sun visor, driver and steering wheel loose… as to why he was bouncing around and laying down on the bench seat half the trip;)
Had these vanquish 2.2 bca tanks for a while.., just couln t get the look right on the bca ucfab buggy; so here they are. Paired with a set of Chinese 2.2 bfg’s…, sticky, great scale apprarnace and only 4.7 tall which works.., slight rubbing on the inside of the signal lite/ markers.
Will try to chamge the shocks to something a little more colourful as well.

Been a while since I've been able to get out on the trails.., just grabbed the latest build again. Only change is the tires/ rims.., these suit it a little better imo but might change yet again. One of my favorite, out of the way, quiet locations.., used mainly by anglers..., following the game trail at the top of the escarpment is so beautiful !
Truck doesnt articulate as realistically in the video my as usual builds.., this one is set up for better control / aggressive climbing (oiled tuned suspension). Need to play around with steering (poor turning).., maybe the setup or cheap axles?
Previous Thoughts on build?
Location is very familiar…, used quite a bit recently. Was going to shoot the last video of the marlin , was asked; and had just finished this project up; so brought it along to try.
Not sure what I think of this build.., was trying to build something unusual.., unnatural? Was never a big fan of truggy/ buggy styles.., until recently with the bad influence of 10duro;)
Got this great bolt on truggy cage from a friend (Ken Cyopick) …, was hoping to run with a Comanche cab…, found out it was made for a square body. Slick cage that is able to mount to any 10i or 10ii chassis rails…. Naturally had to go with a Gcmracing lrt (fusion se). Was all grey metal looking.., axles, links, cage, chassis rails, trans…, until I started spraying;)
Chose pink.., cause I had a can and a set of bca 2.2 rims I wanted to use up but didn’t end up liking how they looked.
Had a full tf2 Scottsdale and chassis still in a box since first released…, why not cut it up;). Figured I throw on a big set of tires… stretched the wheelbase.
Axles won from another friend, Dan from Dantech customs…, thanks🙏
Made the big bumper work.., lots of custom modding and grinding… (stock mounts always break).
For the video I went with meus 1.9s and rc4wd thornbirds. Currents have another set of 2.2 and bfgs on it…, still not sure on what looks the best.
Originally had some rc4wd shocks…, again great scale looks but took them off; just don’t work (older models). Running some unattractive team associated shocks.., but they’re at least well built (Ken Walhert) and tuned!
Driver is a gi Joe ; Recondo.
Interested in your thoughts on the build . I know squares are more of a North American taste…, but just not sure if I like this build or want to sell it.
This I haven’t done an engine bay…, still need side mirrors, door handle, inside sun visor etc
