Let’s go pick bugnay fruit and make bread with bugnay filling.
Bugnay or bignay is fruit native in the Philippines. It’s seasonal and you can only eat this every June to August. The ripe ones are blackish to purple in color and it’s sweet with a hint of sourness while the red ones aren’t ripe yet and it’s very sour. Bugnay fruit is oftenly made into wine and jams.
