In this art tutorial, I show beginners how to use leaves and basic supplies to make your first gelatin plate prints! Also useful if you need a refresher or troubleshooting and cleaning tips.
MATERIALS
Used in the video:
Gel plate 5 x 5
-"Basic" Liquitex or Amsterdam acrylic paints
-Brayer
-Cardstock/copy paper
-Soft leaves
-Tape
-Dish soap, water, spray bottle
We will create a three color print and learn troubleshooting techniques to try when your paint dries too fast, or gets stuck on your plate.
