Vitpilen 401 Head Gasket issue?

After digging into this motor it looks more to me like it is a casting issue. The coolant ports that pass through the block do not line up with the gasket. The head face is dinged up too. Looks to me like a poorly manufactured engine. I will be selling her now and getting me an XSR700 to replace it. Japan knows how to build an engine right. The parallel twin in the XSR has a valve clearance service interval of 26,000 miles. That is way better than the 9,300 of the 401 Vitpilen. Any one near southeast Indiana wanna buy a Vitpilen? I for one am done with these bikes.
