#30. I work on my 1953 Volvo PV 444 ES. I replace the carburettor and the rubber floor mats. And also adjust the valves. We also fix a little on Bob's 1965 Volvo 121 Amazon.
In model year 1953, the Carter carburettor was replaced by a Zenith on the PV 444. My car is a pretty early '53, so it should have a Carter. However, it has been equipped with a Zenith for as long as I've had it. Probably the replacement was done already in the 1950s or 1960s. Would have been nice to have a Carter, but they are hard to find in good condition. I am happy that I found this fully restored Zenith on an Internet auction site.
