In today’s video I put together a simple 3 step guide on how to start a Pokemon card collection in 2025 with $50!

Step 1: Do Your Research & Stick To Your Budget

These resources are great ways to research sets to determine what cards you like and want to collect and provide the market value of the cards you own. It’s easy to overspend when collecting so make sure to create a budget and stick to it because there will always be cards to collect!

Step 2: Determine What You Want To Collect
Sealed Products to Rip / Raw Cards / Graded Cards
After researching the sets it’s great to determine if you want to gamble and open packs for the cards and chance to pull the chase or buy raw/graded copies of your favorite cards. Opening packs you’re not guaranteed anything but if you’re like me and enjoy the hunt and thrill of ripping packs it’s a great way to grow your collection and have some sentimental pulls in your collection.

Step 3: Collect What Makes You Happy
At the end of the day this is your collection and if it makes you happy that’s all that matters.
