Coast Salish First Nation artist Luke Marston carves an eagle feather statue imbued with symbolism of not just Rypien’s struggle, but a struggle still playing out in First Nations communities coast to coast to coast.
The Vancouver Canucks will host their 10th annual Hockey Talks game, inspired by Rick Rypien as an opportunity to shed light on a darkness many people silently wrestle with.
