With streamers like Netflix and Disney pumping out countless movies every year, it's obvious that they've had to cut some corners to get there. But do plastic-y props and clean costumes actually detract from the moviewatching experience? Well, it's not quite that simple - the impact it has on storytelling goes a lot deeper than just what you see on screen.
