All aboard for a classic New England rail journey! 🚆✨
In this first leg of our Wachusett Mountain Day Trip, we’re taking the MBTA Fitchburg Line from Boston’s North Station out to West Concord, catching brilliant fall colors along the way. This route is a favorite for railfans and leaf-peepers alike — a perfect mix of train action and stunning New England scenery. 🍁
We pass bustling suburban stations, river crossings, and tree-lined stretches glowing with autumn color. At West Concord, a crowd of cyclists disembarks to hit the local trails while our train continues westward toward the mountains. 🚴♂️🌲
🎥 Note: My gimbal briefly switched modes in the bright sun — you’ll see a few angle changes, but that’s part of the adventure!
