 The LazyTown co-stars of Stefan Karl Stefansson, who played Robbie Rotten, have paid tribute to the actor after he lost his life to cancer.  The 43-year-old sadly passed away on 21 August after a two year battle with cancer, having revealed in March this year that it had become inoperable.  Since the news of his death, his co-stars, Julianna Rose Mauriello, who played Stephanie, and Magnus Schreving, who played Sportacus, have both shared their heartbreak with fans.  ‘Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal,’ Julianna wrote on Twitter. ‘I always will be dancing right beside you. But I know you are not alone, you have my mom and grandma. Please watch over me. I will try to stay strong.’  Magnus Scheving, who starred as Sporticus and directed the world of LazyTown, shared an image side by side with Stefan in character as Robbie Rotten, with the caption: ‘Today the world is poorer. Stefan a great talent and a human being passed away. My heartfelt for his friends and family. LazyTown will be empty without you.’  Chloe Lang, who played the later version of Stephanie, also shared her thoughts with fans: ‘Rest In Peace to one of the best people I know. Thanks for all the laughs. Miss you already #LazyTown.’  Today it was announced that the dream Stefan had been working on in the hours before his death will be realised in his honour – an academy for performing arts.  The Stefan Karl Academy & Center for the Performing Arts will be built ready for a launch next year in Switzerland, and TMZ reports Stefan had been working on the plans in his final hours.  The project is set to be a celebration of his life, and the academy’s goals will be to train young people in the art of humour and human expression.  Stefan had allegedly planned for humour to be the academy’s linchpin.  Stefan’s wife will be heavily involved.
