Following on from the incredible Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6x6, Mercedes launched the G500 4x4 squared. The basic recipe for this overcomer of everything is simple: take the superior all-wheel drive powertrain including portal axles from the 6x6 - take away one axle - and blend it all with a newly-developed variable chassis and the series production G-Class body. A 4.0 litre V8 bi-turbo engine roaring from the twin side-exit exhausts, all result in an intoxicating soundtrack. Even though the G500 4x4 squared is an extremely big car, it handles tremendously well both on road and off road. Furthermore, permanent all-wheel drive, an off-road reduction in the transfer case, portal axles and three locking differentials all help to make this a seriously capable off-road vehichle.

In visual terms the G500 4x4 squared raises no doubts as to where the extra money has been spent with this car. The visible dual spring-shock suspension setup, huge ground clearance and the gargantuan proportions of this car command respect right from the first glance. Further highlights include the carbon fibre trim with the integral LED light strips above the windscreen and the elaborate partially painted flared wheel-arches. Step inside, with the aid of one of the electrically deployable side steps and you are greeted with incredible amounts of leather and alcantara as well as plenty of techy features you can expect from Mercedes-Benz product. Overall the Brabus 4x4 squared is an off-road brute that has turned everything up to 11 and is one of the most commanding and impressive road legal vehicles you are ever likely to see.
