Using Autodesk Fusion 360 and a Stepcraft 420 CNC machine, we demonstrate a simple part going through the design and manufacture process end to end from part design through to CNC cutting. This part uses a simple 3 axis strategy to face, contour and parallel finish a small logo component out of wood. Robin Beales, our Technical Manager, will talk you through the design of the part and the CNC toolpaths inside of Autodesk Fusion 360 before post processing the G Code out and running on the Stepcraft 420 CNC machine.
