An introduction to marginal models (for continuous longitudinal data) that asks "why can't we just use regression?" and builds up to the complete specification of a marginal model, in the continuous case, discussing time trends in the mean, and correlation patterns between observations. Further, discuss how we can frame scientific hypotheses, the use of Wald tests and LRT tests, and so forth.
