The Rotted Tower is the fifth chapter of Vecna: The Whispered One, a dark symphonic concept album loosely inspired by the lore of Vecna, the Whispered One from Dungeons & Dragons.

This track depicts the final, world-breaking battle between Vecna and his traitorous lieutenant Kas. Their clash tears through the Rotted Tower — the site of Vecna’s ascension ritual — shattering the empire and birthing the legendary artifacts known as the Hand of Vecna and the Eye of Vecna.
