In this video, we circumnavigate Mille Lacs Lake twice, once clockwise and once counterclockwise, on Lake Mille Lacs Scenic Byway. Mille Lacs Lake is the 29th largest lake in the US at 207 square miles. The entire area around the lake is heavily forested with deciduous trees, but unfortunately, they still haven't started budding even in late April (that's Minnesota for ya). However, no leaves on the trees makes it easier to see the actual lake.
