August 19, 2025 Longview Firefighters' Relief and Retirement Fund Meeting

Longview Firefighter's Relief and Retirement Fund (LFRRF) is an independent entity governed by a seven-person board, as established by statute in 1939. Although the board is independently governed, the City of Longview is financially obligated to fund the LFRRF.

After the City of Longview voters passed the pension obligation bond, the LFRRF decided to provide additional financial transparency by recording their meetings on a quarterly basis when their financial investment results are presented.
