SONIC BLITZ [iOS] - EP.11 - New Tutorial & Amy Spotlight Event

It's been awhile since I have covered this game. Many changes were implemented when it comes to the gameplay mechanic. To get a better understanding of the new mechanic, a new tutorial was released. New players even have the chance to play the "Amy Spotlight" event to get a better understanding how the Amy card works.

Sorry for the bad gameplay, I still need to get used to the new mechanic myself.

🔍 Core gameplay updates
· Cards have been assigned a Score stat, which determines the number of points they score.
· There are two ways to score points:
Hitting the opponent’s Force Field during Battle.
Knocking out an opponent’s card (into their Force Field) during Battle.

🃏 Cards
· Power has been divided by 10 for smaller numbers.
· Some cards’ abilities have been updated.
· Some cards' power has been updated to improve balance during Battles.
· Inspecting a Card now allows you to preview the effect of upgrading it.

· Amy Rose Intro (for new players)
· 6-Star Decks event is back! - All cards have been set to 6 Stars!
· 3-Star Decks - All cards have been set to 3 Stars! (made for new players but available for everyone)

🛠️ General updates
· 3D characters now land back on their feet and stay out of the cards after Battle.
· All Missions have been reviewed to better match the new gameplay.
· The tutorial has been modified according to the changes in this update.

Sonic Blitz, the newest Sonic the Hedgehog mobile game currently in development by Rovio and SEGA, will move into a technical launch in the Philippines starting today. During the technical test period, the game will be available for download on iOS and Android devices directly from the App Store and Google Play Store in the Philippines.

Sonic Blitz is a collectible card game with an emphasis on lightning-fast gameplay that is easy to jump into at any time. Sonic Blitz draws on the rich roster of characters in the Sonic the Hedgehog universe to create a diverse pool of cards that players can collect, upgrade, and assemble into strategic decks to take on opponents in fast-paced one-on-one battles that unfold in a matter of minutes.

The purpose of the limited technical test is to identify and resolve potential issues that may arise, as well as identifying gameplay improvements and evaluating the overall player experience. During this period, the Sonic Blitz developers will be actively looking into the game’s metrics and performance to determine its potential for a future global launch.
