This song has been reimagined by Dr. Elijah Adongo and debuted in the 2024 Kenya Music Festival held at Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County in Moi Eldoret Girls hall 1 i.e main hall. The exciting twists and turns of the melody as it moves from one voice to another following the introduction by the soloist gives a mesmerizing experience just like soukous itself.
The song was originally released in 1997 by Koffi Olomide and quickly spread like wild fire across the savannah and Africa at large which catapulted him to fame and has always been timeless. It falls under the category know as generique in Soukous music which is a song made for people to dance to.
