How Good is IRON EMPEROR DRAGON, GARGUREX (Dragon Empire) in CARDFIGHT!! VANGUARD?

Iron Emperor Dragon, Gargurex was introduced as a promo card, this time with its very own rideline. In the past, we saw a similar card in Spinomarquis, but that one struggled to find success due to the lack of a dedicated rideline. Gargurex, however, thrives on seeing a wide variety of Dinodragons — the more it gathers, the stronger its effects become when attacking. On top of that, it can call up to two different Dinodragons from the drop zone, making the ride phase and discard requirements much smoother. The rideline itself builds on these mechanics, even being able to call itself back from the drop zone as part of its cost. But the question remains: is this finally enough to establish Gargurex as a true, standout deck? Find out in this video.
