Learn how easy it is to paint your tired looking deck with Cabot's Timbercolour Deck & Exterior Paint.
Cabot's Timbercolour Deck & Exterior Paint is a premium acrylic self priming paint specifically formulated to provide exceptional durability to all exterior timber surfaces and decking. Its unique formula nourishes and protects the timber while providing excellent dirt and stain resistance.
For this project you’ll need:
Cabot’s Timbercolour

Flat blade stirrer
Brush
Roller
Extension pole
Painter’s tape
Paint tray
Safety gear
Step 1 - If your deck isn’t looking too fresh you might need to give it a light sand to remove any loose or flaking paint. Once this is done, dust off the debris and you’re ready to start.
Step 2 - Once the deck is prepped, use a broad flat paddle to stir the Timbercolour Paint thoroughly.
Step 3 - Once mixed, begin applying the paint to your deck. Cut in along the edges with your brush, and then roll the length of the decking board to apply a generous, even coat.
TIP: Take particular care to seal the end of the board.
Step 4 - Allow at least 2 hours to dry before applying the second coat.
Your deck is now freshly painted and ready for all those trips to the BBQ!
