The first winter weather advisory of 2024 and the measurable winter precipitation on the eastern shore in almost two years, from a small and quick moving winter storm that dropped to close to two inches of snow, and light accumulations of sleet and freezing rain. The light snow began falling in the afternoon hours of Monday January 15th, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and slowly accumulated into the overnight and early morning hours on Tuesday.
