We often use interchangeable terms when we are talking about art and music. For example, the terms triad, tone, and key, can all apply to art or music. Painting in a low key triad is like playing musical chords in a minor key. Both set a somber or subdued mood. In this tutorial, I will show how using a low key triad can create a more melancholy feeling in watercolor.
