There is a legend that says that in the 9th century there was a monk named Chohaku who played the shakuhachi. One night when he was meditating in the pavilion, he composed a honkyoku, called Kyorei, based on a dream. We don't know if this legend happened, but we like it so much that we recreated a soundscape with the interplay of the notes that appear in Kyorei and the pure resonances of the quartz crystal bowls.
We long for peace. We long for peace in the world and each of the people who inhabit it. We aspire to see things as they are in order to live in fullness and peace and be able to return to the eternal Beauty that is so palpable in the Pyrenees mountains.
We are especially grateful to the NaturaLlibres bookstore in Alins, a corner of culture and sensibility wrapped in nature that welcomes us with generosity and inspires us to discover enriching readings and beautiful places in the Pyrenees.
