Fort de Variselle
Das Forte Varisello (französisch Fort de Variselle) ist eine ehemalige italienische Festung am Col du Mont Cenis. Es wurde von 1877 bis 1880 auf 2106 m Höhe in den Westalpen errichtet und befindet sich nahe der Staumauer des später aufgestauten Lac du Mont Cenis.

Fort de Variselle
The Forte Varisello (French: Fort de Variselle) is a former Italian fortress on the Col du Mont Cenis. It was built between 1877 and 1880 at an altitude of 2106 metres in the Western Alps and is located near the dam wall of the Lac du Mont Cenis, which was later dammed.
