Fireflies - Owl City Expert Full Band Guitar Hero 5

Hey guys! This week went slightly unanounced, as do most Band Hero packs...

Anyway, I guess Kingsy's drums have gone to complete shit and the guy who has temporarily been playing with us kind of sucks (no offense but srsly), so if anyone (like wattershed or yusuke *cough cough*) wants to oblige themselves as a reliable and consistent drummer, hit me up, we could use someone like you. lulz

Anyway, I'm voxtaring. This game is just SO MUCH MORE BETTER when you're not doing just one thing, multi-instrumentals ftw Kingsy's on bass and twa something something is on drums. These are like our second runs and since I'll be uploading these as I sleep, I'll just give all my impressions at once.

In my experience, I'm much more of a low-key, alternative sort of guy. I don't really listen to much metal or country or rap or hard rock or classical music or whatever (sue me) so this pack totally appealed to me WAAAAAAAY more than Rock Band's offering. As did last week. Kind of. Not really. Well... Bleh nevermind, let's just pretend that week never existed, except we still recorded Lego Rock Band videos and stuff

Anyway. Just Dance is okay, way better song to sing than anything else, that's for sure. I hated how I just HAD to screw up like 17 notes from the end. Also, I didn't strum once! or maybe I did. Hm. But still, not too bad. I think I give off the impression I'm a fan of Lady Gaga? Well I guess I'm just more tolerant and won't kill myself listening to her music, so fuck you =) As you would expect, it's incredibly easy on everything. Except that one part on vocals.

This Love. Ahhh I loved Songs About Jane, and I'm glad they picked this one. Fucking hard as balls to sing (ish), this seems to kind of have unnecessary amounts of cut up phrases, but whatever. I was getting confused at the end because of course there was like a vocal breakdown and a bunch of fucking alt-strumming and blablahblah, vocals and guitar are the winner here

And last but not least Fireflies. I know I'm going to get flamed for this, but seriously, I don't mind the song at all. It's catchy, Postal Service-esque, and it's really fucking fun to play on guitar and sing. I think it's moreso because I'm voxtaring, but the charting is just so lessthanthree to me that it wouldn't really even matter! I'm not sure why twa was messing up so much, considering the song is pretty overtiered on drums, but this is like our third run of the song and Kingsy fc'd the other two runs on bass, and somehow just forgot to strum or something lol but yeah, this is pretty much the best of the pack I think, followed by Maroon 5 and then Lady Gaga.

Anyway yeah, I know this pack is going to get a lot of hate but personally, it isn't too bad and is pretty tolerable, blahblahblah fuck you ghost nappa
