Our 1978 #Mercedes508D #Van was originally a German Command & Control Center and in service for 35 years. We found it in the states with 18,000 miles on it and had never seen a vehicle like it - I mean didn't even know they existed. We built it out over three months and have kept adjusting bits and pieces while on the road. Our overlanding vehicle features: #Battleborn Lithium 100AH Battery, 30 gallons of fresh water, #Roadshower, #Airheadcompostingtoilet, 540 Watts of Solar, 42L DC Powered Fridge, Queen Bed, lower bunk and all the necessities for us to live comfortable on the road.
